Samsung TVs run Tizen OS and LG TVs run webOS. Neither is Android, so you can only install apps that have been published to the TV's own app store (Samsung Apps or LG Content Store). A handful of streaming-player apps are available — most do the same job, but the setup flow differs.
What you'll need
- A Samsung Smart TV (Tizen) or LG Smart TV (webOS), or a compatible TV from another brand. If your TV runs Android TV or Google TV, follow the Android TV guide instead.
- An active TwinsVision subscription or 24-hour trial.
- Your streaming credentials (Server URL, Username, Password) — shown on your client portal dashboard. These are different from your TwinsVision account login.
Recommended players
All three work on both Samsung Tizen and LG webOS. Pick whichever matches your preference.
- Smarters Player Lite — free; the simplest option. XC login is built in; you log in directly from the TV with your credentials. No external website, no MAC registration.
- IboPlayer — ~$8–10 USD one-time; polished interface. Follows the same flow as Smart IPTV: the app shows a device code, you enter it on the IboPlayer website, pay the one-time fee, and paste your playlist URL there.
- Smart IPTV (SIPTV) — ~$6 USD one-time; long-established; setup is done by registering the TV's MAC address on an external website and uploading a playlist URL.
Path A — Smarters Player Lite (recommended, free)
Open your TV's app store
On Samsung: open Apps (Smart Hub). On LG: open LG Content Store from the home ribbon.
Search for the app
Use the search tool and type Smarters Player Lite. Select it from the results.
Install and open
Choose Install. When it finishes, open the app. Accept any permission prompts.
Choose the XC login option
On the login screen, pick the XC login option (sometimes shown as Xtream Codes inside the app).
Enter your streaming credentials
Fill the fields using the details shown on your client portal dashboard:
- Playlist name: TwinsVision (any label you like)
- Server URL: the Server URL shown on your dashboard
- Username: the Username shown on your dashboard
- Password: the Password shown on your dashboard
Letters are case-sensitive. These are not your TwinsVision account login.
Save and start watching
Save / Add. The app will download the channel list and TV guide; this takes 30 seconds to a couple of minutes the first time.
Path B — MAC-based apps (Smart IPTV, Flix IPTV, similar)
A few apps don't let you log in from the TV itself. Instead, they show a unique MAC address and an activation URL. You enter the MAC on their website (from a phone or computer), pay the one-time fee, and paste a playlist URL on their site. The TV then picks up the playlist automatically.
- Install the app from your TV's app store and open it.
- On the TV screen, note the MAC address and activation URL shown (for example,
siptv.eufor Smart IPTV). - On a phone or computer, open the activation URL. Enter the TV's MAC address and pay the one-time activation fee.
- When asked for a playlist, enter the M3U URL shown on your client portal dashboard.
- Back on the TV, reopen the app — the channels will load automatically.
If the app supports it, prefer the XC login flow in Path A — it's simpler and doesn't require a one-time fee.
